Freeview Frequency Changes

Between 2017 and 2020, Freeview frequencies are changing on a region-by-region basis to accommodate new 5G services on former TV frequencies.

On each retune date, viewers in affected areas will need to retune their TVs or set top boxes to reinstate any missing channels. Ahead of the change, services will be temporarily unavailable for a few hours overnight while the necessary re-engineering takes place at the local television transmitter.

The next retune date is 27th February 2019 and will affect viewers in North East Wales and the Creetown area in SW Scotland.

Further details will appear on this page in due course.
