Paramount starts UK test transmissions

Update | Viacom's new UK entertainment channel has begun testing on satellite.

Paramount Network will offer viewers a range of US dramas, films and entertainment shows on Sky, Freeview and YouView-based platforms (BT/TalkTalk) when it launches on Wednesday 4th July.

The test transmissions contain a brief glimpse of programmes to come on the channel, plus promotions for sister channels 5Select and Club MTV.

The initial free-to-air tests have now been replaced by encrypted tests. The service is available at the following location on satellite:

Paramount Network will launch on Sky channel 159 and channel 57 on Freeview and platforms that piggyback on the terrestrial service. At the present time, Paramount Network isn't due to launch on Freesat.
