Premier Sports and FreeSports strike Pro14 Rugby deal

PRO14 Rugby has agreed a three-year deal with Premier Sports and FreeSports, giving fans access to 152 pay TV and 21 free TV games per season.

All games will be available in HD, either via Premier Sports HD or FreeSport's new HD channel, which is now set to be on-air for July 2018, according to today's announcement.

The Guinness PRO14 is a professional Rugby Union tournament for clubs from Ireland, Scotland, Wales, Italy and South Africa. The agreement covers the 2018-21 seasons and includes all 152 games per season to be broadcast on Premier Sports and 21 games - or one per round - on FreeSports.

Premier Sports is available in 16 million UK homes across Sky and Virgin platforms and to everyone via the Premier Player while FreeSports will be available to 22 million UK homes from next season on most major TV platforms, and online via
