New look for the Radioplayer

Radioplayer has unveiled new branding, which will be applied to all international Radioplayer services.

The online radio station aggregation platform, originally developed in the UK as part of a partnership between the BBC and commercial radio, has been successfully licensed in a number of countries worldwide, but with different logos and branding.

Following the foundation of Radioplayer Worldwide, which oversees the activities of Radioplayer around the world, all licensees have agreed to the new common branding, according to a media release issued by RadioPlayer in Germany.

The main feature of the new branding is the stylised "R" and the choice of colour, which has been chosen because of how it displays in dark environments, for example car dashboards.
