Front Runner makes Sky swap

Sports broadcaster Front Runner is to swap its channels on Sky.

From Thursday 24th August, Front Runner TV moves from Sky 469 to 468. Front Runner 2 moves from 468 to 469.

The channels have been listed the wrog way round on Sky since the second Front Runner channel was launched on Sky in the spring.

At the same time the nightly greyhound racing coverage will be switched from Front Runner 2 to Front Runner TV. As the coverage switch coincides with the channel switch, viewers will continue to select 468 for the racing.

The contract to carry greyhound racing is understood to be a key factor in the channels appearing in the wrong order in the first place. Details of how the changes will affect Freesat viewers, who currently only receive Front Runner 2, is yet to be confirmed.
