Immersed by advertising: All4 to launch 360° ads

Advertisers have found a new way to get viewers immersed in their commercials: Channel 4's sales division 4Sales has today announced the world's first ever 360° interactive video-on-demand ad format that will allow All4 viewers to become part of the advert.

Launch partners Honda and South African Tourism are the first brands to take advantage of the new service, called Ad 360. Honda’s ad, which will appear this week, challenges viewers to virtually test drive the new Honda Civic while South African Tourism will encourage viewers to step inside Neighbourgoods Market in Johannesburg.

All4 viewers will experience both ads in their entirety by dragging their mouse to rotate the screen in order to discover new perspectives and explore every angle – placing them at the centre of the creative.

Ad 360 has been developed by 4sale's video technology partners Innovid.
