HD TV tests for Bloomberg

Business channel Bloomberg has been observed testing high definition broadcasts via the Astra 2G satellite, which principally serves viewers in the UK and Ireland.
Showing coverage of all the latest developments from the World Economic Forum in Davos, including interviews with world leaders, alongside the latest developments around the Presidential Inauguration in Washington, DC, Bloomberg HD is available using the following parameters:

Satellite:    Astra 2G (28.2-5E)
Frequency:    11685
Polarisation: Vertical
Symbol Rate:  22000 (22Mbaud)
FEC:          5/6
Mode:         DVB-S, QPSK
Service ID:   55392
This is a test transmission. Tests may cease or change parameters without prior notice.

The test is believed to be the first instance of Bloomberg being broadcast in high definition via satellite in Europe. The channel is widely distributed across Europe on a number of satellites, but in standard definition.

QVC moves
In other satellite news, the versions of QVC Extra, Style and Beauty for Sky and Freesat users have changed satellite transponders: they are now found at the following parameters on the Astra 2 satellite cluster. (Sky and Freesat boxes should automatically have stored the channels on their new frequencies. Sky/Freesat channel numbers are not affected.)
Frequency:    11494
Polarisation: Horizontal
Symbol Rate:  22000 (22Mbaud)
FEC:          5/6
Mode:         DVB-S, QPSK
