Listeners to BBC WM via the Wolverhampton local DAB multiplex will need to re-select the station from their DAB station list between now and the 4th October to continue listening to the station.
The action is required because of a change in the service ID of the station on the Wolverhampton DAB multiplex.
Affected listeners may have noticed that the ID of the current version of BBC WM has changed to "please retune". Presets where "please retune" appears on the screen will need to be reset to the new version of BBC WM by selecting BBC WM from the station list.
The BBC advises that listeners on FM and Freeview are unaffected. There's also no changes to the service on DAB from the Birmingham local multiplex.
