Local DAB goes live in Surrey

Local DAB digital radio has officially gone live today in Surrey following a switch-on event at Epsom Racecourse this morning.

MuxCo Surrey is broadcasting BBC Radio Surrey, Eagle Radio, new station Eagle3 and Redstone FM on the new multiplex, which is broadcasting from transmitters at Crystal Palace, Guildford and Reigate. Further transmitters at Leatherhead and Hungry Hill will boost coverage across the county in the future.

Listeners can tune into the new local DAB multiplex on VHF block 10C.
