Fire Hit TV arrives in Manchester on Freeview

updated Viewers in the Manchester area can now tune in to watch the first test broadcasts from the brand new Fire Hit TV.

The new music channel, operated by Dorset-based Triple Broadcast, is now broadcasting on Freeview channel 60 in the Greater Manchester area, one of a bundle of extra Freeview channels currently available in the area.

Fire Hit TV promises fresh and famous hits for Manchester and Cheshire, according to the on-screen promotion. It's not yet known when the channel will enter full service, or if it will roll out in other areas or on other digital platforms.

Viewers in the Greater Manchester area, including North East Cheshire, who are already able to watch additional services including Movies4Men and Sony SAB on channels 51 and 53 will be able to see the service after a retune.
