Satellite TV service provider Freesat has confirmed country music channel Keep It Country will be returning, a month after viewers lost the channel.
Keep It Country will return to channel 516 on 28th February 2017, according to Freesat. The channel disappeared off Sky, Freesat and Freeview at the end of January. At the time, Keep It Country announced this was due to a change in service provider, with normal service resuming in February.
While the channel returned as planned on Sky and Freeview, Freesat viewers did not see the channel being restored, and for a while neither Freesat or Keep It Country were able to provide viewers with a return date. In the meantime, it's only been possible to manually tune the free-to-air channel on Freesat boxes, but the return to Freesat's channel line-up will make it easier for viewers to find, watch and record programmes from the channel.
