Streaming service TVPlayer has announced the addition of 11 channels, with the offshoot channels from ITV, C4 and C5 joining the service.
Following a deal with the main free-to-air broadcasters, first mentioned in September by one of the service's key investors, TVPlayer can now offer over 75 free-to-air channels, plus an optional bundle of more than 30 others for £4.99 a month without a contract.
Rob Hogkinson, CCO at TVPlayer said:
“We’re massively simplifying the TV streaming experience, bringing all the channels onto one great service so you no longer have to move between different websites and apps."
TVPlayer channels are available via the TVPlayer.com and apps for mobile, tablet and some smart TVs. At the time of this announcement being released by TVPlayer, the new channels hadn't yet been added to the app.
