Organised by The Radio Academy and supported by Leeds Beckett University, the awards will recognise talent and innovation across across all audio platforms including broadcast, podcast and streaming.
Radio groups, individuals, companies and independent producers are invited to submit entries for consideration by an eminent judging panel formed of industry experts and Radio Academy Fellows and jointly chaired by Bob Shennan, Director of BBC Music and Controller of Radio 2, 6 Music and Asian Network and Phil Riley, former Chair & CEO of Orion Media.
There are 16 award categories with entries closing on August 15th and nominations announced September 19th. The winners will be unveiled at a star-studded ceremony at the First Direct Arena in Leeds on Wednesday October 19th.
Roger Cutsforth, Managing Director of The Radio Academy said: “For a creative industry of the stature and size of UK radio and audio, it is only right to showcase and celebrate the very best of innovation and talent across the board.
