Racing UK HD goes live

Just in time for the Cheltenham Festival, horse racing channel Racing UK has launched an HD version of its service, now available on Sky HD channel 432.

The channel promises that it will be broadcasting over 82% of their racing fixtures in HD in 2016 (599 fixtures currently scheduled). No additional premium will be levied to subscribers for the HD service and there is no requirement to be a subscribers to Sky's other HD channel packs, as Racing UK is offered as an independent, standalone channel.

Subscribers with appropriate HD equipment should have automatically been migrated to the HD version today.

For Sky HD users, the standard definition channel has moved to channel 466.

The channel continues in standard definition on other platforms, including Virgin Media and the version via compatible connected Freeview devices on channel 231.
