Re-brand for Triple Hits DAB station

Triple Hits, the digital radio station broadcasting across Somerset and South East Wales, has re-branded and is now known as 100% Dragon Hits.

The station, which is based in Cardiff, has a slot on the Somerset local DAB multiplex, which provides strong reception across both sides of the Bristol Channel.

It first launched just over a year ago following the arrival of local digital radio in Somerset.

A new website for the station is due to be launched shortly, with social media accounts yet to make the switch to the new name.

Just before midnight, Triple Hits confirmed 100% Hits South Coast is coming soon. Triple Hits holds a slot on the Solent Wireless DAB multiplex for Portsmouth.

  1. 100% Dragon Hits isnt coming in strong at all in the Canton area of Cardiff, how can they claim to be broadcasting to Cardiff when they are only on the Somerset multiplex, and can't be received in the whole of the city?
