EE adds TVPlayer Plus to its portfolio of services

EE and TVPlayer have this morning annonced a deal that enables EE TV viewers to access premium streaming service TVPlayer Plus on their EE TV boxes.

The move will see a range of new entertainment, documentaries, sport, movies, and children’s programming available to EE TV customers and follows a deal between box manufacturer Netgem and TVPlayer owner Simplestream.

Extra channels include Eurosport 1 broadcasting events such as the Davis Cup Final (featuring Andy Murray and Great Britain) and Live Snooker from the UK Championship; Discovery Channel showcasing Tony Robinson's Wild West; original factual programming such as Pawn Stars on HISTORY®;and Adventure Time and The Regular Show on Cartoon Network.

How to get the extra channels:
New and existing EE TV customers can access the channels through the On Demand section of their EE TV set top box for a £4.99 per month rolling subscription. At launch, EE TV customers will also benefit from an exclusive two-month free trial.
