London trial DAB multiplex testing

The new small scale DAB trial multiplex for London, operated by UDAB, is now testing from one of its two transmission sites in the capital.

Once fully launched the multiplex, which is broadcasting on VHF Block 9A will cover Central London out to the A406 North Circular Road and A205 South Circular Road. In the meantime, the test transmissions cover a smaller area.

It will be on air for nine months as part of an Ofcom and radio industry trial of a cheaper way of distributing stations via DAB in ten towns and cities across the UK

The following stations have been announced for the multiplex:
