Travel Channel expands Freeview hours

The Travel Channel has confirmed it will be broadcasting 24 hours on Freeview from midday on the 25th June 2015.

The move comes almost two years after the Scripps Networks owned channel made its debut on the UK's digital terrestrial television service, which was initially described as a 'trial'.

Broadcasting on Freeview channel 42, viewers will need to retune from 25th June to continue receiving the channel, which until now has only been available on Freeview between 6pm and 10pm every evening.

Travel Channel is also available via Freeview on YouView and EE TV boxes.
