Talking Pictures: new film channel launches on Sky

Independent archive film and television channel Talking Pictures launches today as a free-to-air channel on Sky channel 343.

Promising to bring back memories of black and white Saturday Morning Pictures, the channel will broadcast 24 hours a day, offering viewers the opportunity to "re-live some of the rarest gems from British film history; plundering the deepest and darkest vaults of Pinewood, Twickenham and Shepperton Studios to present a wide variety of nostalgic treats."

  1. Following on from the growing success of classic tv channel Bonanza Bonanza, another classic tv channel Talking Pictures TV. This is fantastic news, showing the classic tv and films that we no longer see on mainstream tv. Best of luck to them.
