Equal World closing down TV outlet

Ethical shopping channel Equal World is closing its live TV service down at the end of May after just under a year on air.

The channel (Sky 662 and through Vision TV on Freeview 244), utilises profits for charitable purposes, is now running a closing down sale. The business continues online via its website at
equalworld.com. Until the end of the month, the channel is running a closing down sale on its TV outlet.

Equal World is a subsidiary of the Colourful Life Foundation. Many of the products sold on the channel are sourced from disadvantaged communities such as Soweto in South Africa and the Kathputli Slum of India, giving these under-privileged communities both a vital income and hope for the future. Gemporia, operator of Gems TV is one of major supporters of the Foundation.
