BBC Radio 5 Live gatecrashes BBC Four Film

BBC Four viewers have complained about audio interference from BBC Radio 5 Live during the channel's screening of the BBC Film We Need To Talk About Kevin.

During the closing part of the film, numerous viewers reported that they could hear sound from BBC Radio 5 Live interfering with BBC Four's soundtrack. The fault was relatively brief and subsequent programmes are understood to have been broadcast without any issues.

Viewers contacted a516digital reporting that the problem was being heard on all digital TV platforms. The BBC has yet to comment.
