You can find out more about adding these channels using a Sky box here

If you have a Freesat Freetime box, you need to go to the settings menu and select system settings. There select set top box mode (stb mode), then highlight and select non-Freesat mode. Then do a channel search. In the channel search menu select Transponder, and look for a number that matches one of the frequencies listed above, e.g. 10906 and select it. Use the arrow keys (up/down/left/right) to navigate.

Repeat
Please note that there is currently no STV+1 on satellite. But the debates will be repeated on STV Glasgow and STV Edinburgh at 11pm. These channels are available in parts of Central Scotland on Freeview and YouView channel 8, Sky channel 117 and Virgin Media 159. Outside these areas, they can be manually tuned on Sky receivers only.

  • The other way around: Viewers in Scotland, who would rather watch Midsomer Murders on ITV can do by going to Sky channel 973 or Freesat channel 977.
  • ITV Border: In parts of north Cumbria, plus Dumfries and Galloway, both versions of ITV Border are available on Freeview. They are both broadcast from the Caldbeck transmitter in northern Cumbria. Some Freeview receivers may have stored one version of ITV Border on channel 3 and the other version in the 800s, the channel range where receivers store any duplicate channels. Some boxes may have stored Border England, and demoted Border Scotland, while others demote Border England to the 800s, keeping Border Scotland at channel 3. The HD and +1 versions available in the region will show ITV network programming (Midsomer Murders).
