Sound improvement for Triple Hits

Listeners to Triple Hits, which broadcasts on the Somerset local DAB digital radio multiplex can now benefit from an improvement in sound quality.

The station has since Friday, according to local listeners, been broadcasting in stereo, in contrast with many other DAB stations which have made the switch the other way in recent months.

In addition to being officially available in Somerset, the signal overspills across the Bristol Channel and can be heard along parts of the South Wales coast.

Triple Hits is operated by Bournemouth's Fire Media Ltd and plays a range of 21st century hits and 'Old Skool' anthems.
