Local DAB frequency changes

As part of the expansion of local DAB digital radio, some multiplexes in England will change frequencies, resulting in listeners needing to retune.

Under the proposals, the following local DAB multiplexes are affected:

*in the case of Lincolnshire, which hasn’t launched yet, the previously allocated and proposed frequencies. Lincolnshire is due to launch in the summer of 2015.


Subject to formal regulatory approval following a public consultation, affected listeners will be notified in due course with details of when they need to retune. Only some services, such as local BBC and commercial stations in each of the above areas will be affected by the changes.
