Sunrise Radio returns to DAB

Asian radio station Sunrise Radio is making a return to DAB digital radio on 15th October 2014, where it will be available on a number of local DAB multiplexes.

Sunrise Radio will be available on local DAB in Kent, Herts/Beds/Bucks, London, Northamptonshire and Surrey.

The station left DAB in London last September following difficulties affecting the station. BizAsia reports that the station hasn't been on DAB since it moved frequencies after the takeover of its previous frequencies (1458 & 1035) in February by Lyca Media.

Sunrise Radio's own London licence is currently in jeopardy because of its withdrawal from DAB last year - several Asian radio groups are competing against Sunrise for the right to broadcast on AM in London.
