Encore for NOW TV as ITV Drama channel added

ITV Encore has become the latest channel to be added to Sky's entry-level internet streaming service Now TV.

From today all Now TV customers with the Entertainment Month Pass will have access to ITV's pay TV drama channel, which until now was only available to subscribers of Sky's satellite service.

ITV Encore currently shows episodes of Poirot, Prey, The Widower and Monroe, with series 2 of Mr. Selfridge, series 4 of Vera and the fourth and final series of Whitechapel coming later this month.

Martin Goswami, Director of Pay & Distribution at ITV, said: “Following the launch of ITV Encore to Sky customers on 9th June 2014, we are delighted to also offer Now TV customers the chance to enjoy our fantastic dramas with the addition of the channel's catch up content to the NOW TV Entertainment Month Pass.”


How to get ITV Encore on Now TV
Subscribers need a broadband (fixed or mobile) connection of at least 2.5 Mbps to watch the standard definition streams via one of the following receivers:
  • £9.99 NOW TV Box, 
  • Roku,
  • PC, 
  • Mac,
  • Selected Android smartphones and tablets, 
  • iOS devices, 
  • PS3, 
  • PS4, 
  • Xbox One and Xbox 360,
  • LG smart TVs,
  • And from today, Chromecast
The Entertainment Month Pass, available on a month-by-month basis, is available for £4.99 per month. It also includes access to content from Sky 1, Sky Atlantic, Sky Living, Sky Arts, Discovery, MTV, Comedy Central, GOLD, Disney, Nickelodeon, Nick Jr and FOX, plus box sets of selected shows. Sky Sports News HQ is available via an App for users of the Now TV box. 

A limited number of programmes are unavailable on the Entertainment Pass live streams due to rights reasons. 

Passes for Sky Sports and Movies are also available.
