Freeview Channel Updates: April 2014

CBS Reality launched on channel 66
Track changes to the Freeview service during April 2014.

Three new services have joined the national Freeview service this month. At the stroke of midnight into the 1st April, CBS Reality launched on channel 66. At midday on the 1st, Movies4Men went national on channel 48 and the RNIB's radio station Insight Radio launched on channel 730.

The allocation of channel 66 to CBS Reality means a reshuffle of children's and news channels to a new position in the channel listings is due. Platform manager Digital UK announced on 22nd April that a reshuffle will take place on 3rd September.

On 17th April 2014, bid and price drop ceased broadcasting after their owner sit-up Ltd went into administration. When the output from the studio was pulled, a default "technical fault" caption kicked in. More information

Where there is more than one channel update, the most recent will be listed first. Channel updates will usually appear here within 24 hours of the change. Services in yellow require a TV, PVR or set-top-box that supports DVB-T2/Freeview HD.

    1. Hello. Thanks for highlighting this. An update to the data underpinning various pages of information on this website was missed out. The output for ArqB/COM6 has been reloaded, and you'll find details of that channel on the multiplex capacity guide and broadcast hours on the Freeview EPG pages.
