Freeview Channel Updates: March 2014

Track changes to the Freeview channel line-up during March 2014.

Extra Freeview HD multiplex COM7 has seen its coverage increase. More than six million viewers will be able to receive the additional Freeview HD channels this month as transmitters are upgraded across the UK.

In addition to BBC Four HD, BBC News HD, CBeebies HD and Al Jazeera English HD, viewers who live in the coverage area of the expanded Freeview HD service can now select a 24 hour version of the Community Channel in HD on channel 109, meaning viewers do not have to rely on the reduced hours service on channel 63.

Children's channel POP joined the platform on the 20th March 2014. Bid and Price Drop moved multiplexes on the 31st March, following recent debt problems affecting its owner sit-up Ltd.

What's changed so far?
Where there is more than one channel update, the most recent will be listed first. Channel updates will usually appear here within 24 hours of the change. Services in yellow require a TV, PVR or set-top-box that supports DVB-T2/Freeview HD (although not necessarily broadcast in HD).
