VuTV now available on selected LG TVs

Pay TV add-on service VuTV is now available on selected LG Freeview HD TVs on Freeview channel 238.

The service, which allows viewers with a compatible device and a suitable broadband internet connection to access 13 pay TV channels, including Comedy Central, History, Nickelodeon and Lifetime for £6.99 a month has been working to ensure that more devices are compatible.

VuTV confirm on their website: "We have been testing the VuTV service on LG devices running new software, and are getting positive results. We expect more 2013 and 2014 LG models to be compliant with the service over the coming months."

Viewers with compatible devices can sign up and get the first 14 days free at vutv.com.

VuTV is available to viewers who can receive channels such as ITV3, Quest and QVC on Freeview and who have a preferably unlimited broadband connection of at least 2 Mbps.

VuTV is now compatible with the following LG TVs running the latest software:

  1. With Talk Talk (Youview), Virgin Media TV Anywhere and Sky Go products around and as VuTV is from the same people who has an TVCatchup rival (TvPlayer) and run the BoxTV+ service on the web, tablet and mobile platforms they really should have an VuTV web, youview and portable presence. Youview has Now TV and Sky Store so may as well add merit that is the additions that the connected red button brings such as on 4Music and additional hours i.e. Jewellery Channel, the streamed channel range (LCN 225+) that includes services such as VuTV 'premium' offerings as well as services rival to Now TV including Blinkbox, Netflix and Lovefilm!
