LBC goes national on DAB, replacing Birdsong

News and talk station LBC will be available across the UK on national DAB digital radio from 7am on Tuesday 11th February 2014.

Owner Global Radio is taking over the ex-Jazz FM slot, which is currently being used by Birdsong.

LBC was previously available in a number of regions on DAB until last year, when its withdrawal from regional digital radio multiplexes provoked disappointment among its loyal listeners.

LBC, which in recent years has been branded "London's Biggest Conversation", will now be marketed as "Leading Britain's Conversation", with the station continuing to feature high profile interviews and the famous "Call Clegg" slot with the Deputy Prime Minister, Nick Clegg.

The station's current distribution via FM in London and through Sky and Freesat remain unaffected by the move to national DAB.
