Fire Hit TV launches 2nd August

Triple Broadcast's new TV venture Fire Hit TV is launch on Friday 2nd August 2013 at 10pm.

The new channel, which is only available around parts of Manchester and NE Cheshire on Freeview channel 60, will begin showing Manchester exclusive shows from 9th September.

Just like during the early years of music television, Fire Hit TV will have live VJs (Video Jockeys) on air, something that other music channels no longer offer. Allan Lake has been confirmed as the presenter of the first show on the channel.

The channel will showcase what it describes as "fresh and famous" music hits.

UPDATE: The channel's launch was delayed due to technical issues (confirmed on Twitter). As at 08/08/2013, the channel has still not gone live as expected.
