Shopping channel Pitch TV in administration

Shopping channel operator Pitch TV has gone into administration. The company operates two channels on Freesat - Pitch TV (channel 803) and Pitch World (channel 804).

Statement on the website
According to specialist website shoppingtelly.com, a notice on their website explains that it is no longer accepting customer orders. Existing orders are to be honoured.

It appears Pitch TV went into administration on the 12th April, but has only been noticed today following changes on satellite, where - according to Digital Spy forum member "Digi Man", the Pitch World channel has been relabelled Discount TV. On the Freesat Electronic Programme Guide (EPG), the channel is still listed as Pitch World on channel 804.

Pitch TV on Freesat channel 803 is currently showing teleshopping from Thane Direct.

It's not the first time these channels have been in trouble. Pitch TV was removed from Freesat channel 803 between 28th August 2009 and 1st October 2009 after Pitchwell Group - the former parent company - went into liquidation.

  1. They were still trading 3 weeks ago when i sent my email of complaint re. a busted steam mop (which doesnt do what it shows with that annoying South African bloke in the adverts), they didnt acknowledge the email (sent from the comments area of their website) so i returned today to attempt to send a second complaint email from my Yahoo account, and thats when i saw the message - I WAS CONNED - THE MANGEY MOP LASTED 7 MONTHS, not full on use at all, mainly the time it takes to steam a small l/room carpet once every 2 or 3 weeks - hardly excessive use, I notice on Amazon and other sites several 1* reviews for this mop, and all of them mention the same issue, the base breaking from nowhere, resulting in soaked carpets (if lucky) and burnt hands or legs if you were unlucky to only notice the leak once the temperature was sky high
