BBC shuffles HD channels on Sky next week

To mark the launch of BBC Two HD, the BBC's Director of Distribution Alix Pryde has confirmed that the BBC is reshuffling its HD channels on the Sky EPG.

In a change to the channel number originally announced for BBC Two HD, the new service will be available on Sky channel 142. BBC One HD moves to 141 and BBC Alba to 143.

Channel numbers originally announced for BBC Two HD on all other digital platforms remain the same.

  1. Some frequencies, PIDS, Rates etc. would be useful as not everyone uses Sky or Freesat receivers.
