The Freesat Ad effect...

COMMENT Freesat's ad star Desiree may have discovered the secret of turning back time in more ways than expected. Freesat's < Free Time > receivers have been seen at the Comet stock clearance sale for under £200, while stocks last. So it might tempt consumers to turn back time and actually set foot into Comet...

Meanwhile, Freesat reports that its adverts have had another effect, apart from recently crashing the website. The platform operator has seen a surge in requests for a diamante dish like the one seen on the wall of Desiree's flat in the advert. It may well be the must have accessory this Christmas...

Shallow/vain/tacky or an object of desire/a design classic? You decide!
