Channel AKA joins Freesat line up

Channel AKA has joined the Freesat EPG on channel 512. The channel, operated by "All Around The World Productions" (AATW) features up and coming urban, hip hop and grime music.

The channel, which until 2009 was known as Channel U, was previously only carried on the Sky EPG, where it can be accessed on channel 370, although it has been free-to-air via the Eutelsat 28A satellite. AKA was owned by Mushroom TV until earlier this year, when it was taken over by AATW. AATW also operate the "Clubland TV" channel, which is available on both Sky and Freesat.
